Meet Dr. Kathryn Dixon
Dr. Kathryn Dixon is a proud Oregonian whose path in dentistry began with a love of biology at the University of Oregon in Eugene. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in Portland and returned to her hometown of Klamath Falls, where she owned and operated a successful private dental practice for more than two decades.
In October of 2025, Dr. Dixon purchased the dental practice from Dr. Joseph Sawyer and established Dixon Dental Studio, Inc., bringing her extensive experience, thoughtful leadership, and patient-centered philosophy to the community of Gladstone. She chose Gladstone for its quaint, small-town atmosphere and strong sense of connection—values that closely align with the type of care she strives to provide.
Under Dr. Dixon’s leadership, Dixon Dental Studio is entering an exciting new chapter, with the thoughtful integration of modern dental technology designed to enhance comfort, precision, and long-term outcomes. Her goal is to blend advanced techniques with a calm, personalized approach, ensuring patients feel both well cared for and confident in their treatment.
Dr. Dixon is deeply committed to continuing education and has pursued advanced training across multiple dental disciplines, including:
- IV Moderate Sedation (Academy of General Dentistry)
- Botox Administration for TMD (CARE Esthetics)
- Dental Occlusion (The Dawson Academy)
- Dental Implant Placement and Restoration (Oregon Implant Continuum and Jacksonville University Master’s Program in Implantology)
Her comprehensive training allows her to provide continuity of care under one provider, offering services such as esthetic veneers, root canals, extractions, bone and tissue grafting, dental implants, TMD splints, crown and bridge work, and Botox therapy.
For patients with dental anxiety, Dr. Dixon offers a range of sedation options—including nitrous oxide, oral sedation, and IV moderate sedation—to ensure a comfortable and reassuring experience.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Dixon enjoys exploring Oregon’s many trails and spending time with her Shiba Inus, China and Ash. She is honored to serve the Gladstone community and looks forward to building lasting relationships rooted in trust, thorough care, and exceptional dentistry.
Meet The Staff
China
China is Dr. Dixon’s loyal Shiba Inu and our unofficial ‘Chief of Moral Support.’ Whether she’s greeting you with a wagging tail or simply livening up the office atmosphere, China’s calming presence helps ensure every patient feels right at home during their visit.
Rachael, EFDA EFODA ANA-IV LAFC
Rachael is a dedicated anesthesia dental assistant who loves working with her patients and helping them feel comfortable and safe. She’s passionate about sharing her knowledge, always teaching her expanded skills to coworkers and supporting a collaborative, high-quality care environment.
She pursues continuing education to grow professionally, working toward certifications such as anesthesia dental assisting, phlebotomy, IV placement for sedation, and local anesthetic administration. Her commitment to learning helps her stay current with best practices and provide excellent patient care.
At home, Rachael, her husband, and 9 year old son, breed and raise Exotic cats. In her free time she’s happiest outdoors; fishing, hiking, and camping. She is a big kid at times and adores all things Disney. Her combination of clinical skill, teaching spirit, and love of life makes her a valued teammate and caregiver.
Ren, Office Manager
Meet Ren, our Office Manager
Ren is the friendly face and warm voice that greets you at the front desk. Whether you’re calling to coordinate appointments or walking through the door for your visit, she’s your go-to for coordinating your appointments. From your first hello to your final goodbye, Ren is dedicated to helping you stay ahead—encouraging you to look 3, 4, even 6 months into your schedule to keep your preventative care on track.
Outside of work, Ren shares her home with three cats and a corgi named YOYO. She’s a lifelong learner, always seeking new experiences and opportunities to grow. While she enjoys a good movie, don’t expect her to catch your pop culture references—they tend to fly right over her head! In the summer, you’ll find her out on the water or in the forest; in the winter, she’s cozied up with a long TV series and a warm blanket.
Laura, Dental Assistant
Laura is a dedicated Dental Assistant with over four years of experience and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional patient care. She is committed to continuous learning, always expanding her skills and knowledge to better serve patients and support her team. Laura takes pride in contributing to the growth and positive evolution of the practice, helping create a welcoming and efficient environment for everyone who walks through the door.
Outside of work, Laura enjoys playing video games, discovering new and delicious foods with her husband, and taking relaxing walks with their dog, Lasagna.
